Senior Asset Manager – Photovoltaic Sector (Italy Area)
to join its dynamic Asset Management team, for the management of PV plants and project companies (SPVs) in Italy. Economics or engineering graduates as well as proactive candidates with at least three years of experience in Asset Management in the renewable energy sector in Italy will be considered for this position.
Reporting to the Head of Asset Management, the Senior Asset Manager is a member of the Stern Energy Asset Management team and take care of renewable photovoltaic plants in Italy, with a focus on the technical, commercial and financial performance of the Group’s PV plants and SPVs. The candidate will work in daily coordination with Italian and English-speaking business partners and colleagues.
Specifically, the candidate will be responsible for:
- Lead and coordinate the management of the PV portfolios assigned to him in collaboration with the other asset managers of the team.
- Manage and monitor the day-to-day operations of the SPVs, ensuring compliance with Applicable Law, Project Agreements (SPVs contracts, FIT agreement, land lease agreements, etc.) and public permissions in connection with the PV Plants.
- Managing day-to-day operations of the Asset Management organization achieving high performance standards.
- Monitoring PV plants’ performance and coordinating technical interventions to ensure full production and profitability of the project.
- Managing insurance claims on behalf of project company.
- Optimizing revenue streams includes managing sales, power purchase agreements (PPA), and guarantees of origin (GO certificates).
- Controlling project revenues and costs, analyzing deviations and maximizing profitability for project success, as well as identifying opportunities for further improvements.
- Supervise the assessment, preparation and execution of payments of incoming invoices, financial loans and surface right fees.
- Monitoring and ensuring compliance with contract covenants to uphold legal and financial commitments.
- Preparing and issuing reports required under any of the relevant Project Agreements or the Loan Agreement, and any other ad-hoc documents for informed decision-making.
- Liaise and coordinate with the Financing Bank and Business Partners.
- Preparation of budget, financial reports and periodical liquidity forecasts.
Essential requirements and skills:
- Degree in Economics or Engineering.
- Excellent knowledge of Italian and English languages.
- Expertise in main Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, Power Point).
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- At least 3 years of experience in the renewable energy sector in Italy.
The contractual terms for the job position will be assessed based on candidate’s experience, aiming for a long-term placement within the company team.
